Cookie Policy
Last updated: March 2026
This policy explains what cookies Nudge uses, why we use them, and how you can manage them.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that your browser stores on your device when you visit a website. They are used to remember information between page loads; in our case, to keep you signed in.
Cookies We Use
Nudge uses essential cookies only. These are strictly necessary for the app to function and cannot be disabled without breaking the login system.
These cookies are set by Supabase, our authentication provider. They contain an encrypted session token - no personal data is stored in plain text within the cookie itself.
Google OAuth sign-ins may result in additional chunked cookie fragments (e.g. sb-*-auth-token.0, sb-*-auth-token.1) due to the larger size of Google's identity tokens. These serve the same purpose.
Cookies We Do Not Use
- Tracking or analytics cookies
- Advertising or marketing cookies
- Third-party social media cookies
- Profiling or behavioural targeting cookies
Managing Cookies
Because the cookies we use are essential for authentication, disabling them will prevent you from signing in to Nudge. You can clear cookies at any time through your browser's settings, which will sign you out of the app.
For instructions on managing cookies in your browser, refer to your browser's help documentation.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever introduce additional cookies, we will update this policy and notify you via the in-app "What's New" modal.
